Ni-rod 55X welding ROD is especially suitable for cast iron welding, which is a kind of welding ROD which is suitable for full position welding and has the ability to be comparable with carbon steel electrode. The nickel - iron welding core of 55X electrode makes weld metal with high strength and low residual shrinkage stress, which is very suitable for welding large and thick components. Because this electrode is very insensitive to the phosphorus and other impurities in the mother material, it can also be used to weld low-grade cast iron with high strength and toughness.
NI - ROD 55 x electrode can be used for grey cast iron, ductile iron, compacted graphite cast iron, malleable iron, and other various casting alloy itself, or between them and between steel, stainless steel and nickel base alloy welding.
