XPE foamed cotton, namely chemical crosslinked polyethylene foaming material, is made of low density polyethylene resin, crosslinking agent and foaming agent through continuous foaming at high temperature. Compared with EPE (physical foamed polyethylene, commonly known as pearl cotton), XPE foaming material has higher tensile strength and finer foam holes.
The characteristics of XPE chemical foaming cotton:
(1) Buffer - Semi-rigid foam, which can be used in precision instruments, semiconductor packaging and other fields, but also in the field of sports protective and leisure products.
(2) Formability - strong heat resistance, good ductility, uniform density, can achieve vacuum forming and hot forming deep parts of the formation, so it can be used for automotive air conditioning evaporation cabinet, automotive hot-pressing ceiling and other interior accessories and shoes materials.
(3) Sound absorption - with sound absorption and noise reduction function, suitable for aircraft, railway vehicles, automobiles, motors and other strong noise equipment and environment sound absorption and insulation materials.
(4) Insulation - Its fine independent bubble structure can effectively reduce the energy exchange caused by air convection, and is suitable for making insulating pipes and boards.
It also has anti-condensation property, which makes it very suitable for thermal insulation materials in humid environment such as refrigerators, air conditioners and refrigerators.

XPE泡棉即化學交聯(lián)聚乙烯發(fā)泡材料是用低密度聚乙烯樹脂加交聯(lián)劑和發(fā)泡劑經(jīng)過高溫連續(xù)發(fā)泡而成，與EPE（物理發(fā)泡聚乙烯，俗稱珍珠棉）相比，抗拉強度更高，泡孔更細。

(2)成型性--耐熱性強，延展性能好，密度均勻，可實現(xiàn)真空成型及熱成型等較深部位的成型，因而可用于汽車空調(diào)蒸發(fā)柜、汽車熱壓頂棚等內(nèi)飾件及鞋材方面的材料。
(3)吸音性--具有吸音降噪功能，適合用于飛機、鐵路車輛、汽車、電動機等強噪音設備及環(huán)境中的吸音隔音材料。
(4)絕熱性--其細微的獨立氣泡結(jié)構(gòu)，可有效降低空氣對流導致的能量交換，適合制作保溫管、保溫板。
并且兼具防結(jié)露性，使之極適合用于冰箱、空調(diào)及冷庫等多濕環(huán)境的保溫材料。
